Martin Illek, author of Numerus
Martin is a freelance translator and interpreter for Portuguese and Spanish, and he runs a language agency called Encanto. www.encanto.cz, www.illek.cz. In his childhood and youth he used to compete in chess, which ignited his passion for abstract logic games. He is currently intensively working on a new game which should be finished by the end of 2013.
Matúš Kotry, programmer of the Numerus application
Matúš studied at Párovské Grammar School in Nitra, where he specialised in mathematics and informatics. Programming and development of games was his favourite hobby. He participated in various competitions in informatics and, among other achievements, he also won the regional round of the Secondary School Expert Activity competition where he registered 3 of his games programmed in Flash. In 2012, he received the M.A. degree from the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University in Brno in the field of computer graphics. He continues his studies as a postgraduate student at this Faculty where he participates in the development of the Caver viewer application: a tool to be used by biochemists intended for analysing and visualisation of protein molecules.
